Unexpectedly Alone (PG)

Lily sighed softly as she reread the owl she had just received from James. He apparently couldn't make it for their date after all and she debated on just heading home. She didn't quite want to go on their date alone, but she figured she was already out and about. Lily figured she might as well make the most of it. She went up to the ticket stand and bought a ticket for the first movie she saw and went inside to grab a few snacks. One of her favorite parts about going to a movie theater was the popcorn. She loved popcorn, the more butter the better. So she bought the largest container she could find and headed off to find a seat.

When she sat somewhere in the middle of the theater she took a look around. Lily was only half sad that she would be spending that night alone, but she tried not to let it show. She would definitely miss James, but she knew that what he was doing was much more important than a date that they could always reschedule.

Silvia smiled when she reached the theater. She loved the moviese-they let her escape reality for a while. She whent up to the counter and got a small thing of popcorn and a box of every licorice wands, figuring she might as well go all out and enjoy herself. However, she frowned when she found the movie she'd gotten a ticket for almost full. She looked around for an empty seat and found one by a girl she recognized from school. "Mind if I sit here?" She asked with a friendly smile.
