Personal History: Born into his family as the first Black son, he was going to be their proud heir. Or so his family thought. From a young age he was able to recognize that his family was wrong in their pure-blood mania ways. He believed that all wizards were equals. Which was against his family's beliefs. Because of this difference, his life at home was very tough. He was sent to Hogwarts with the warning that he "Better be in Slytherin..Or else." However Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor and he became the shame in the family. In Gryffindor, Sirius met James, Remus and Peter. They became his best friends and created a group called the Marauders. At Hogwarts he also met Snape and various other Slytherins who he despised for their pure-blood mania, just like his family. When Sirius was sixteen he ran away from his family, no longer being able to deal with all of them. He currently lives with James Potter and his parents. Sirius is a good-hearted guy. The professors are very fond of him although they still punish him and his friends for making mischief and playing pranks.

RP how you got your letter: Sirius was sitting in the parlor in the Black residence as Regulus was pestering him to go play a game.
"Come on Sirius!" he urged. "Come play!"
Sirius gave him a pleading look, "Father forbade me. I'm in trouble remember? Go away before he comes back."
Regulus gave a sad look to his brother as an owl flew in the window.
It dropped a single envelope onto Sirius' lap before flying out.
Sirius turned the envelope over and recognized the small red seal that was holding it together.
"What's that?" asked Regulus.
"I got accepted into Hogwarts!" Sirius exclaimed grinning.
"Go tell mum and father!" Regulus said excitedly.
Sirius got up and ran to his parents who were in the kitchen.
"I got in to Hogwarts!" he said happily.
His father turned around. "Why are you out of the parlor?"
"To show you my letter." Sirius said hanging his head.
"Sirius. You must learn to obey our instructions. We have been waiting for weeks for you to get your letter. That was no shock. It was no excuse to disobey us." his father said standing up and walking towards him. "Now go sit back down and wait for me. You were already in trouble, and then you disobey? Hah. Be ready, boy."
Sirius ran back to the parlor and started at his hands as he sat down. Hogwarts will be better than his, he thought. It has to be.
